This policy covers the JURTO customer app, the JURTO Partner (driver) app and the JURTO Fleet app.
Who we are
JURTO is a goods delivery service in Chennai. This policy explains what we collect when you use the JURTO app and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account: your name, mobile number and email (if given).
- Location: your current location while the app is open, to set pickup and show nearby vehicles.
- Bookings: pickup, stops and drop addresses, receiver name and phone, vehicle, fare and payment method.
- Saved places you choose to save.
- Payments: payment status and Razorpay payment IDs. We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank login.
- Device: a notification token so we can send booking updates.
- Support messages and ratings you send.
How we use it
To take and complete your bookings, find a driver near your pickup, show live tracking, process payments, refunds and wallet credits, send booking updates, give support, prevent fraud, and improve the service.
Who we share it with
• The driver for your booking sees your name, phone number, pickup, stops, drop and receiver details.
• Razorpay processes online payments.
• Google Maps provides maps, address search and routes. Firebase sends notifications. Supabase hosts our database.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data.
Location
The app uses your location only while it is open, to set your pickup point. You can turn off location in your phone settings and type the address instead.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. Booking and payment records may be kept longer where tax or other laws require it.
Delivery partners (driver and fleet apps)
- Drivers give their name, phone, licence details, vehicle details and photos, and bank or UPI details for payouts.
- Location in the background: while a driver is ONLINE in the JURTO Partner app, the app shares the phone's location even when it is closed or the screen is off, so nearby orders can be offered and customers can track the trip. It stops when the driver goes offline. A notification is shown the whole time.
- Trips, earnings, commission and wallet entries are kept for payouts and tax.
- Fleet owners see the trips and earnings of drivers in their fleet.
Your choices
You can update your name, manage saved places, and delete your account any time from Account → Settings → Delete account. After deletion your personal details are removed, except records we must keep by law.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and access is limited to your own account and the people who need it to deliver your booking.
Children
JURTO is not meant for anyone under 18.

We may update this policy and will show the latest version in the app. For privacy questions or complaints, use Account → Support in the app.
